WHEN in the Course of Human Events, it becomes necessary for one person to dissolve the political, religious, ethnic and moral bands which have connected that person with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature’s God entitled that person, a descent respect to the opinions of humanity requires me to declare the causes which impel me this just and complete separation. I HOLD these Truths to be Self-Evident: that all people are created EQUAL, that I am endowed by the Creator (which only I can define) with certain unalienable rights which consist for every human being--no matter what color, sex, political or religious thought and practice, or nationality. Among these Creator-endowed Rights there are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. That only I am capable of interpreting the True and Full-Extent of these RIGHTS! That to secure these Rights, I am a government instituted within myself, deriving my Just Powers from Within. THAT whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is my Right to alter or abolish it, to sever any and all relations with that government, to no longer pay it any allegiance, to institute a new government and lay its Foundation on such Principles. Principles upon which shall seem most likely to effect my Safety and Happiness. WHEN a long train of Abuses and Usurpation’s shows forth a design to reduce my life to one under absolute Despotism, it is my Right, it is my Duty, to sever our relationship. I object to the absolute Tyranny over me and my Rights to live in a world of Peace. I object to the infringement upon my Rights to the freedom of speech, religion, press and privacy. I object to the absolute beastly manner in which I am numbered as a means of identification. I object to the wars raged by corporate entities for the purpose of greed and power. I object to the savage raping of this planet upon which I and everyone else must rely upon for our survival. I object to the subliminal manner wherein we become pawns within the mighty game of corporate brain-washing--thereby duping the people into believing in and supporting corporate wars. I object to being governed by any man or woman who does not represent my safety or security and regards their own will to be that of mine. I object to the double-standard of taxation by a legalized Mafia of corporate heavily armed guards whose purpose it is to fund these wars fought for corporate gain. I object to the manner in which the courts deal out justice with a total and complete unconcern for the spirit of the law. I object to the building and constrution of a One World Government through the United Nations called the New World Order. I object to the usurpation of those Democrats or Republicans or other members of government alike who are Socialist in thought, word, deed and action. I object to the gradual and continual loss of my public, personal and private liberties under the guise of "fighting terrorism." Further, I object to the war against my Confederate heritage, history, culture and theology in an effort to eradicate it from the civilized world. I, THEREFORE, appeal to the Supreme Judge of Heaven and Earth for the rectitude of my intention, do, in the name, and by the authority of my Self, solemnly publish and henceforth declare: THAT I AM an autonomous individual born to be free and independent, that I am absolved from all allegiance to the United States, or any other government that now supports the policies of corporate war for greed. That I will not seek to take up arms against any said government or representatives of that government unless the safety of myself or my household shall be threatened and all therein. That at that time I shall arm myself in whatever means is available and practice the art of vigilantism in the protection of myself, my family and my Earthly goods. That I will faithfully seek with all my might to teach the doctrine of Peaceful co-habitation upon this planet by all living forms. That I will not at any time volunteer my support toward the perpetration of their corporate wars nor the building of their New World Order. That I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Principles upon which this declaration is founded. That I will grant to others the same rights to which I claim that Peace may reign upon the Earth.  WITH a firm reliance upon the protection of the Divine Providence, I pledge to this freedom my life, my fortune and my integrity. “When all usefulness is over, when one is assured of an unavoidable and imminent death, it is the simplest of human rights to choose a quick and easy death in place of a slow and horrible one,” wrote Charlotte Perkins Gilman, author, on August 17, 1935. I AM now choosing to exercise my “human rights” through my own volition. |
